Class 1 ADR Driver

My Client is currently looking for a Class 1 ADR Driver to operate one off their artics on an afternoon late shift 2pm-1/2am.

Location –  LE14 3BH

This job role is predominantly bridging product in to our depot from Kingsbury oil terminal with some local deliveries to our local customers where access available.

All candidates are required to hold at least a Class 2 licence and ADR Class 3 in-tanks (Class 1 is preferred) as they have three artic’s that require cover by other drivers during holidays – PDP training and external examination will be provide at the company.

Start times vary between 4am and 6.30 am subject to delivery demand and candidates need to understand the expectation is that between 50 & 55 hours per week may need to be worked from time to time, This will be subject to demand for our products.

At peak periods you will work to the maximum permitted hours as per drivers hours.

They pay class 2 drivers £16.45 for the first 8 hours per day and then £24.67 for additional daily hours worked and Class 1 drivers £18.65 for the first 8 hours per day and then £24.80 for additional daily hours worked.

They will guarantee a basic 40 hours per week of work Monday to Friday.

There is a Saturday rotor for work (no Sunday working ) and Saturday working is paid start to finish at £24.67 per hour Class 2 and £24.80 Class 1.

Paid Holidays are 20 days per year + Bank holidays (8) and after 2 years of continuous service driver’s will receive an additional one days paid holiday per year up to a total of 25 days paid holiday + Bank Holidays (8)
