Customer Service Officer

JT Recruit are currently looking a Customer Service Officer for our client based in Newark - this will be to provide an effective and efficient facilities service to the transport site with a clear focus on Customer Liaison and Support, Cleaning/Site Management duties and Site Security.

Hours are 37 per week, over 6 days Monday to Saturday on a rotation, AM then PM shift.

AM Shift: 06.45am to 13.15PM

PM Shift 12.45PM to 19.15PM     

Responsibilities include:

  • Locking/unlocking of the site and alarm setting

  • Dealing with public enquiries, complaints and requests for information

  • To supervise contractors whilst on site and to advise relevant department of repair works and budgets required

  • Ordering stock and stationary 

  • General administration duties

  • Liaising with the Transport Team in order to ensure the regulations and procedures are effectively in place throughout daily operations

  • Ensuring the site is maintained to high standards throughout.

  • Undertaking minor repairs in line with health and safety requirements.

  • Ensuring heating systems are operationally effective and managed.


The Candidate:

Experience in working of any of the below would be desirable.

  • Experience of working within a Building Cleaning and Caretaking/Site Management environment
  • Experience of working within a direct customer service environment
  • Experience of premises security , maintenance and heating systems
  • Experience of working within a dynamic environment and a flexible approach to working

 

Pay Rate: £8.91 per hour
