Available ASAP?
If so, Becky at JT Recruit would like to discuss this role with you. She is looking for experienced Income Officers to join a Local Authority in Oldbury on a temporary ongoing basis.
The Service is responsible for managing, monitoring, and recovering arrears of rent and other housing related charges from current and former tenants. A key objective is to combine effective recovery and arrears with the provision of a high-quality customer-focused advise, assistance and support service.
Your new role As an Income Officer you will contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective customer focused Income Management Service. To ensure prompt and appropriate action is taken to control and recover outstanding former tenant debt, current garage debt, and low level/statistic current tenant arrears.
You will also undertake clerical and legal administrative duties when required by the service. You will identify and effectively monitor all accounts within your area of responsibility including taking payments and taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
When required, resolve low level/static current tenant debt. You will also recommend cases for write-off in line with the council’s write-off procedure.
