Registered Manager

My client are a national care provider who support older people with varying needs including dementia and mental health, as well as providing accommodation and support for those requiring assisted living.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of their brand new 64 bed residential homes in Wells (due to open early next year) as the Registered Manager on a full time and permanent basis. 

Pay is up to £65,000, depending on experience, and salaried hours are 40 per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make this first class home a success from day one. Before opening you will recruit your team, agree budgets, set out marketing strategies and prepare for operational readiness. You will have full clinical and commercial control of the home upon opening. 

Once open, you will gain full financial control of the business and continue to develop a coherent and effective team. You will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance in the home as well as maintaining occupancy levels.   


To be considered for this post you must:

  • Be a Registered Manager of a medium-large residential home with private fee payers rather than local authority 
  • Have good or outstanding previous CQC rating
  • Ideally have commissioning experience 
  • Have a forward thinking approach
  • Be compassionate, resilient and determined to delivery quality care
