Sales Ledgers

We are on the hunt for a Sales Ledgers for our client based in Derby . You will be providing financial administration support to the Finance team.

Hours: Monday – Friday (Office Hours)

Salary: Competitive salary

Responsibilities

​​​​

  • setting up of new customers
  • Accurately maintain sales ledger records
  • Monitor payments received and balances due
  • Maintain a professional demeanour when discussing with customers and collection of aged debt
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve queries in a timely manner in respect of sales ledger transactions
  • Answer incoming customer queries via email/telephone in relation to their accounts
  • Maintain confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary
  • Covering reception on an ad-hoc basis
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the role

 

Skills

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C+
  • Administration experience in a financial setting
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of using SAGE
