Team Leader (Call Centre)

Can organise, plan and co-ordinate own tasks and those of others to meet business objectives?

Are you able to relate to people and work effectively in a team environment?


If so, then JT Recruit would like to hear from you.  They are working in partnership with a local authority in the DE4 area who is looking to appoint an experience Team Leader within their contact centre on a temporary basis.

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will manage, coach, and develop a multi-skilled team of people who respond to a broad range of enquiries and emergency calls from both the general public and professional services.  You will be expected to optimise performance, delivering on agreed KPI’s to ensure achievement of service levels and consistency in communication, operational processes, and procedures across the Contact Centre.

The role will promote Call Derbyshire through participation in joint working projects with partner organisations and involves regular liaison and team working with departments across the council.

Ideally you will be an experienced Team Leader / Manager, used to working in a multi-skilled performance driven contact centre environment.  You will have a passion for customer service excellence and service delivery.


This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week between the hours of 08.00-18.00 with some weekend cover required on a rota basis.
