Ambulance Cleaner/Driver (MRO)

If so Becky at JT Recruit would like to discuss these great opportunities with you. She is looking to appoint ongoing temporary vehicle cleaners for an emergency service provider in Hemel Hempstead, Harlow, Luton

You will be required to collect and move vehicles within specified times and destinations to ensure the vehicles are ready and in place for the operational crews.

You will be required to carry out daily vehicle inspections and checks and to clean the ambulances to ensure infection free treatment environment.

As a Make Ready Operative (MRO) you will typically work in a small team with a supervisor overseeing the work and offer support.  As well as the vital role of preparing emergency vehicles for operational duties, you will support the management of stock and equipment assets and restock module bags destined for the vehicles, this requires significant care and attention to detail.

The requirement to work shifts includes nights and weekends and a degree of flexibility will be required to ensure our service delivery is maintained. You will also need good communication skills and a basic understanding of IT will be essential along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Your role will also involve moving the ambulances, so a full UK driving licence is required with a commitment to attaining a C1 licence within 6 months of starting.

Hours of work are 5 days out of 7 days, rotating shifts which will include days, nights and weekend work 37.5 hours per week.

Weekday rate £11.45 per hour

Saturdays & Nights £14.69 per hour

Sundays & Bank Holidays £19.07 per hour
