Caretaker

Our client a local authority based in Edwinstowe are looking for a caretaker / site technician to join their friendly team. 

Working hours are 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, times to be agreed at interview.

You may at time's need to visit other sites, so you will need access to vehicle for this role.

You will need to have an enhanced DBS for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locking and unlocking of the building. Attending the security alarm when required. Making the building secure when needed.
• Attending to the heating of the premises and ensuring that the temperatures are maintained.
• Carrying out handy person duties - securing screws, hinges, door furniture, locks, minor repairs, painting, changing bulbs, changing CCTV tapes etc.
• Cleaning of the designated area's in the establishment. Maintaining floor surfaces.
• Attending to and cleaning up after spillages.
• Record all deliveries in the correct manner.
• Ensuring washrooms are stocked with appropriate consumables.

About you:

• Must be extremely IT literate literate and be able to update systems and log all works done online. 
• Must have own transport to visit different sites.

Pay rate:£11.18 p/h
