Full Job Description
Contract Manager
With a turnover of circa £7M and 65 employees, My client works within the construction industry as a specialist contractor providing three main disciplines: Concrete repair/structural maintenance & waterproofing, steeplejack & specialist access, and lightning protection & electrical earthing services nationwide.
They are now looking for a suitably qualified Contract/ Project Manager to enhance their existing team, on a Full-time, Permanent basis, who can offer the full range of modern and efficient project management skills necessary to deliver excellent customer service and return an achievable budgeted profit margin month on month.
This position would suit both a recently qualified ex graduate with experience working in the construction industry as well as a seasoned professional experienced in concrete repair, concrete condition surveys, industrial & commercial leaksealing and structural maintenance.
A disciplined, well organized and ordered work ethic, with excellent IT skills and relevant H&S certification are essential for you to succeed in this role.
Running teams of a directly employed NVQ qualified workforce on contracts nationwide your duties would include:
- Labour management, personnel issues, recruitment and training
- Plant and stock management
- Efficient programming
- Health and Safety
- Cost control
- Site visits and safety audits
- Estimating
- Site & Technical meetings
- Pre order meetings
- Technical guidance and solutions for our customers
- Seeking new opportunities to price.
- Achieve or exceed budgeted turnover profit margins
