Electrician

Leicestershire Country Council are looking for a Street Lighting Electrician to join them.

 The position is working as a qualified electrician maintaining and installing street lighting, traffic signals and associated electrical work.

 Experience required: - 

1. Electrical installation
2. Maintenance and construction
3. Driving and using specialist hydraulic platforms or lifting equipment, would be preferred but not necessary.
4. Supervisory experience would be desirable but not necessary.
5. Knowledge of COSHH and H&S at work
6. Knowledge of driver’s hours regulations

 

Qualifications required: -

1. City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation, part 1 &2
2. Class B Driving Licence

 Hours of work are days, but you may have to carry out work outside the normal working hours.

This position is based in Mountsorrel, but you will be required to travel to other locations throughout the county.

This position is temporary paying £13.68 per hour
