Grounds Maintenance Operative

Local Council are looking for a number of Grounds Maintenance people to Landscape areas, Gardens and open spaces within the Leicester area.

The position is to maintain council greenspaces, including general maintenance to hard and soft landscaped areas.  Grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking, clearing leaves and shrub bed cultivation.

You will also be required to remove fly tipping, rubbish and graffiti.

This would suit someone who has previously worked as a Grounds Maintenance Operative and has experience of maintaining gardens and open spaces. You would also need to have experience of using various hand tools.

Clean driving licence is also required, as you will be using various vehicles and basic IT knowledge.

Working 5 days a week, the role is to cover the summer until the end of October 2022.

Pay will be £10.68 per hour
