Quality Technician

Are you an EXPERIENCED Quality Technician? Do you have an excellent proven track record and are you looking for your next challenge with an immediate start?

 

Our Derby based client is offering two varying position’s as IMMEDIATE starts for the right experienced candidates!

 

2 x Temp to Perm Quality technicians  to start ASAP

 

Key Responsibilities (include but are not exhaustive of):

 

To assist the company in achieving its business objectives and revenue targets by assisting the Quality department in ensuring that all quality requirements are met and maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Using AutoCAD or similar drawing software packages
  • Investigating customer complaints through to closure including direct liaison with customer
  • Ensure that all activities are undertaken and controlled in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Perform routine internal audits once trained
  • Checking and organisation of production records
  • Environmental monitoring of the Cleanroom and Warehouse
  • Managing customer and supplier complaints
  • Incoming inspection
  • Inspection, issuance and administration of medicinal products
  • Liaising with the Qualified Person in respect of the medicinal product
  • Product testing as required
  • Creation and update of specifications
  • Review and approval of procedure packs and pack components
  • General administration tasks

 

 

Other Requirements

 

•             A reasonable amount of additional (unpaid) hours will be expected during peaks of activity to ensure business objectives are met.

 

•             Any other reasonable duties, as requested by your Manager, to meet the changing needs of the business.

 

Essentials

 

Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C and above including Maths and English

 

Engineering qualification mechanical or electrical

 

Demonstrated ability working within FMCG environment

 

Good fault-finding skills with an engineering back ground

 

To be able to work as a team member and communicate at all levels

 

Good organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and work under pressure

 

Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities

Hours: 38 hours a week (shifts 5 days out of 7)

 

Shifts: 06:00 to 14:06 / 14:00 to 22:06 / 22:00 to 06:06 (Rotational basis)

 

Salary Between 20k -25K
