Senior TE Technician

My client is a world wide leader in their field 

They are now seeking a Senior Thorough Examination Technician to join their team on a permanent basis 

You will be covering the following postcodes: WD, CM, EN, HA, RM, N, W, EC, IG, SS, NW & WC

Salary: will be dependent on experience + Overtime and Bonus, 23 Days holiday initially but will increase with time served. Company Van, Tools and Uniform supplied.

Duties:

To lead the regional examination team and support Service Operations by carrying out examinations of MHE in line with LOLER & PUWER Regulations at customers sites, within your allocated region.

The role will require focus in 3 main area’s

• Team Leadership
• Examine Material handling Equipment in line with regulations
• Delivering customer 1st Experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

• 5 years Material Handling Experience
• Familiar with current national regulations in field of safety at workplaces
• Up to date knowledge of PUWER & LOLER Regulations
• Competent with Microsoft Office Applications
• Good communication skills
• Good team working skills
• A full UK drivers’ licence

SOME SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage your regional team
• Carry out Thorough Examinations on Materials Handling Equipment to approved standards (CFTS Accredited)
• To determine the safety of a truck for operational duties
• To declare any equipment that is deemed unsafe
• To promote MHE examination growth using the company’s documentation and literature
• To work flexibility and move around the country to support your team members when required
• To ensure that the Company’s safety regulations are always followed, and report any anomalies immediately
