Stock control Supervisor

The ideal candidate will possess substantial technical knowledge in stock control, experience in leading a team. Strong communications, excellent organizational skills  and finally stock integrity experience,

Job Purpose:

The supervisor is to manage and maintain stock integrity by ensuring all stocked lines are counted within the agreed timescale. Duties include but are not limited to, quality control checks, special request stock counts, system interrogation to ascertain reasons for discrepancies, stock returns and the management of damaged goods. The ideal candidate must be able to promote company values and manage KPI’s.

The role will involve:

  • To ensure the agreed PI schedule is maintained
  • To accurately record all stock discrepancies
  • To report daily to the Warehouse Manager all stock adjustments with explanations
  • To ensure all stock returned from drivers is accurately recorded and put back to stock in the correct locations
  • To ensure all damaged goods are recorded accurately and managed in such a way as to mitigate loss, either through repackaging, allocating to staff sales or prepared for “jobbing”
  • To complete the three-month report in full and carry out any routine date checks.

Required skills:

  • Positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer-focused with a desire to succeed
  • Experience in dealing with stock discrepancies
  •  Knowledge of NATOPS
  • Strong sales and customer service background
  • Ability to Deal with Stock discrepancies and date rotation
  • Excellent IT Skills, including MS Office and MRP systems
  • A strong team player with ability to use own initiative
  • Focused approached to work and ability to multitask

The wage is 24k (negotiable – upon experience)
