Stores Operator/Stores Person

 

Prestigious electronic security company based in Leicester are looking for an experienced Stores Person.

 

The Stores Person will be responsible for general stores management for the company. 

 

This includes: -

 

• All goods in and out of the company
• Monitoring and logging all stock locations and movements in and out of the stores
• Completion of stock counts and quarterly stock takes
• Maximising stock accuracy
• Packing of outgoing goods for collection  
• Maintaining accurate shipment records
• Scanning in/out of customer returns into the company database
• Maintain accurate records of delivery/despatch paperwork and computer records
• Ensure issued parts have been inspected

 

Skills and knowledge required: -

 

• Stores/warehouse experience
• Good IT skills, word and excel would be preferred
• Good verbal and written skills
• Accuracy and good attention to detail
• Forklift Truck licence would be preferred but not necessary
• DBS would be preferred, but the company is happy to complete this for you

 

The Stores Person position is working days, Monday to Friday

 

This position is a temp to perm paying £10.42 per hour
