TE Technician

My client is a world wide leader

They are now looking to recruit a Thorough Examination technician to join their team on a permanent basis

The role will be covering the following postcodes: BN, OX, RG, PO, GU, HA, LU, TW, HP, UB, WD, SO

Salary: Dependant on experience + Overtime and Bonus, 23 Days holiday initially but will increase with time served. Company Van, Tools and Uniform supplied.

This role requires focus in 2 main areas:

• Examine Material Handling Equipment in line with regulations
• Delivering Customer 1st approach

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

• 5 years Material Handling Experience
• Familiar with current national regulations in field of safety at workplaces
• Up to date knowledge of PUWER & LOLER Regulations
• Competent with Microsoft Office Applications
• Good communication skills
• Good team working skills
• A full UK drivers’ licence

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• To carry out Thorough Examinations on Materials Handling Equipment to approved standards (CFTS Accredited)
• To determine the safety of a truck for operational duties
• To declare any equipment that is deemed unsafe
• To promote MHE examination growth using the company’s documentation and literature
• To ensure that the Company's safety regulations are always followed, and report any anomalies immediately
• To work flexibility and move around the country to support your team members when required
