Telecare Installer

Do you have experience with power tools?

Can you assist vulnerable Adults across Derby City?

 

Then we’d like to hear from you.  JT Recruit are working in partnership with the local authority in the search for someone to work on a short-term contract in delivering a great service to their customers.

You will be required to undertake the installation, programming, testing and maintenance of a wide range of complex assistive technology equipment. Such as PIRs smoke alarms etc. This will include a small amount of drilling so all installation to include the safe use of power and other tools as appropriate. Also, use of a variety of IT devices for effective programming of equipment. All installations to be carried out to a standard to ensure the correct functioning of the equipment, and to avoid risk to the customer and their visitors.

Hours of work are 10.00-18.00hrs, 37 hours per week, Monda - Friday

You will also need a full UK driving licence and the use of a vehicle of which mileage will paid for.

Other duties:

 Undertake home visits to vulnerable adults across tenure types

 Carry out technical assessments to establish the most suitable location for the sensors and the necessary timings and calibration of the equipment to meet customer needs and reduce risk.

 To ensure all installed equipment is tested before leaving site

 To ensure all customer paperwork and contracts are processed in line with set procedures

 To maintain accurate stock control records, ensuring that equipment details are recorded at installation and collection.

To ensure full compliance with all safety procedures and requirements of statutory health and safety legislation.

 To offer support and guidance to the Responder team with Telecare installations
