Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for nights out and long-term opportunity? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the DE4 4AA area, specializing in foam insulation and packaging solutions. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering excellent pay, benefits, and the chance to secure a full-time role after a successful 3-month period.
What’s on offer:
- Hourly Rate: £16 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Night Out Allowance: £25 per night
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with regular nights out
- Contract: Temp-to-perm – initially hired through JT Recruit for 3 months before transitioning to a permanent position
- Location: Based in the DE4 4AA area
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Confidently operate a 12-speed manual gear truck
- Transport foam insulation products to various destinations
- Perform some manual handling of materials during deliveries
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and safety at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles, particularly manual gear trucks
- A positive attitude, reliability, and good communication skills
- Willingness to work nights out as required
