Class 1 yard Shunter (Tuesday to Saturday)

We are seeking a skilled Shunter with Class 1 experience, CPC, and a Tachograph card to join our team. If you have the right qualifications and are looking for a flexible, rewarding role, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
• Shift Start: 06:00 AM (flexible for the right candidate with experience)
• Shift End: Flexible depending on operational needs

Pay:

• Tuesday to Friday: £15 per hour
• Saturday: Time and a half – £22.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuvering and positioning trailers in and out of loading bays and parking areas.
• Ensuring efficient yard operations by coordinating with drivers and warehouse teams.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Class 1 yard Shunter experience but not essential
• Class 1 license with proven experience.
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Tachograph card.
• A keen eye for detail and safety awareness.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs.
