Are you an outdoors enthusiast who loves staying active? Want to make a real impact in your community while getting paid? Look no further! We have an exciting 2.5-day driving role that could be perfect for you.

Our client supports local councils by maintaining cleanliness in parks—specifically collecting dog waste from public bins. This job offers the perfect balance of independence and outdoor activity, giving you the freedom to manage your route and work at your own pace while ensuring our parks stay clean and safe for everyone.

What makes this role unique?

  • Get fit while working: Collecting dog waste is a hands-on job that keeps you moving. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy fresh air and be active!
  • Be your own boss: As this is an independent role, you’ll need to be organized, follow a set collection route, and take ownership of your daily tasks.
  • Be a local hero: Dog walkers will appreciate your efforts, making you a popular figure in the park. Your positive attitude and commitment to excellent service will make you an ambassador for Target Hygiene.
  • Take on a variety of tasks: From preparing and organizing your van for waste collections to using basic tools for maintenance, no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing your van and route to ensure smooth and efficient waste collections
  • Collecting dog waste while maintaining an organized system
  • Reporting any maintenance issues with bins, such as broken locks or damaged bins
  • Using tools (like a drill) to perform minor repairs when needed
  • Representing Target Hygiene with a friendly and customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience for park-goers and dog walkers

Additional job details:

  • £13.00 per hour to start, with more opportunities for growth
  • Days of work are set but flexible to ensure a consistent routine
  • A clean driving license is essential (minor points can be risk assessed)
  • Good health is important since lifting and loading bags onto a trailer is part of the role
  • DBS and reference checks will be completed

If you’re ready to work independently, enjoy the outdoors, and be a key part of keeping your local parks clean, we’d love to hear from you! Join the team and make a real difference while staying active and fit.
