Becky at JT Recruit is working with a local government authority to find a skilled and dedicated temporary Driver Labourer to join the property team in delivering top-tier services to Nottingham’s residents.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out general labouring and driving duties, including transporting building materials to various sites.
- Operate a range of vehicles and equipment, such as vans, buses, trailers, mini diggers, and cherry pickers.
- Support skilled tradespeople in completing tasks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with waste collection and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all required paperwork, including log sheets and timesheets, is completed accurately.
- Work autonomously, following Health and Safety protocols and ensuring the safety of all parties involved.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in labouring, with a good understanding of building materials and the construction process.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Qualifications: Full, current driving license and a willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside normal hours and at different locations as required.
Hours:
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:00 and an early finish on Fridays!
