HGV Class 1 Driver
JT Recruit Mansfield Branch are currently looking for 6 X HGV Class 1 Driver ‘s on behalf of our client based in Mansfield. Our client provides safe, wholesome drinking water whenever a piped supply is unavailable, unusable, or inadequate. Primarily their work is in supporting the Water Utilities.
The role is 4 on 4 off, and both day and night shifts are available. You must however due to the nature of the work be prepared to night out, sometimes for the whole shift pattern, hotels are arranged where possible. You must be physically fit for this role as you will be connecting hosing to mains supplies. Full training will be given and you will also obtain your blue card.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for safely abstracting water from the mains networks, ensuring minimal risk of contamination, and transporting and delivering it in the same manner.
- You will receive training and induction which will show you how to connect pipes and any other relevant information about the job. All training will be on days, approx. 2 weeks and is paid.
- You must be willing to do nights out on a regular basis.
- you are able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

The Candidate:
- Valid Tacho, CPC and UK HGV1 Licence
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences
- A minimum of 2 years HGV1 driving experience
- Smart Appearance
- Physically fit
- Excellent customer service / people skills
- Excellent understanding of the English language
- IT Literate
- Must live within 30 minutes from Mansfield
Rates of pay:
- Days £16.00 per hour
- Nights £18.00 per hour
- Saturdays £20.00 per hour
- Sundays 24.00 per hour
- Night out is a hotel is £25.00 per night
- Night out in cab is £50.00 per night
