My client is seeking dedicated Technician to join their dynamic team at their Loughborough site
This is a full time permanent role, working alternating shifts
- Earlies: 06:00 – 14:30 (Monday to Friday), 06:00 – 11:00 (Saturday).
- Lates: 12:00 – 21:30 (Monday to Friday).
Your Mission:
As a vital member of the Workshop team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the “brilliant maintenance” of their own and their customers’ commercial vehicles and trailers, adhering to the highest DVSA standards.
You’ll be responsible for accurate diagnostics, efficient repairs, and maintaining the integrity of our brand and our customers’ assets.
This role demands both physical and mental resilience, as you’ll tackle complex issues and deliver exceptional service.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicle and trailer makes to DVSA and company standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, using your expertise and initiative.
- Provide on-site repairs for disabled vehicles at customer locations.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety regulations and company safe work practices.
- Accurately record job details, times, and parts usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Stay up-to-date with DVSA regulations and product developments, participating in ongoing training.
- Work collaboratively within the team and demonstrate flexibility.
- Participate in site security procedures.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Foreman, Workshop Manager, or General Manager.
What You Bring:
- A relevant technical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- A valid full driving license.
- Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
- Self-confidence and a proactive approach.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

- Competitive hourly rate: £17.00 – £19.00 (dependent on experience).
