Moulding Operative
My client is a supplier of a variety of rubber and plastic products for different uses based in Hinckley
They are now seeking a mould shop operative to join them on a 12 week temporary leading to permanent basis
Previous experience with compression moulding is essential
Compression Moulding Operative, working alongside a small team to manufacture O-Rings, Seals and other elastomeric products for the aerospace market.
The role will mostly involve the preparation of rubber blanks and compression moulding on a bank of three presses, though occasional other duties may be required.
The applicant should be physically fit, as the job involves a lot of heavy lifting in a hot working environment.
£11.44ph starting salary, however this will increase once permanent
Bonus: Company is now employee owned and as such bi-annual bonuses are usually paid. After a year’s qualifying period these bonuses are untaxed, and raise the hourly rate
Hours:
6:30-3:30, Monday – Thursday
6:30-11:30, Friday
Two paid 15mins break, unpaid 30min lunch
