Production Operatives

Worldwide Prestigious Security Company are looking for a number of Production Operatives to join them at their Leicester Electronics manufacturing base.

Hourly Rate – £12ph

Primary duties will include the manufacture and Repair of Electronic Monitoring Products supplied by G4S Monitoring Technologies Ltd. The applicant must be CRB cleared and have previous relevant experience within an electronics or similar manufacturing industry

• Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly of Electronic Devices and Modules.
• Capable with training, of operating a variety of powered tools used in the production of Electronic Monitoring equipment (to include Pillar Drills, Ultrasonic Welders, Electronic Test Equipment, Bar-Code Scanners, Labelling and Weighing Machines).
• Typical daily duties necessitate the ability to work machinery repetitively whilst maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. This could involve standing for long periods of time.
• Low level soldering and solder station tool maintenance.
• The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team is essential.
• The production environment requires the Operator to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.
• All tasks are supported by written works instructions which must be adhered to at all times.
• Awareness of ESD procedures. (Training given)
• The role and duties may be subject to change to meet the requirements of the company in a changing and developing environment.
