Warehouse Team Leader – AM, PM and Weekend Shift available

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Warehouse Team Lead in Swadlincote, DE12!

We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Team Leader at our site in Swadlincote, DE12.

As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will oversee the operation of a section within the warehouse, supporting the Management Team and ensuring efficient operations to meet business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to fulfil operational and customer demand.
• Train new Warehouse Operatives.
• Ensure inventories and stock movements are accurate.
• Support regular stock takes.
• Maintain computerized systems accurately.
• Produce reports and statistics as required.
• Assist in planning future capacity requirements.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Maintain high standards of security and cleanliness in the warehouse.

People Management:

• Manage time and attendance for operatives.
• Communicate priorities, targets, and operational requirements to staff.
• Report progress and any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as needed.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven Team Leader skills with the ability to motivate and supervise others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets and databases.
• Analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong planning skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety and security requirements.

Qualifications:

• GCSEs Level A-C, NVQ Level 2.
• Warehousing qualification and Forklift Truck license are advantageous.
