Yard Operative / Valeter
My client is a well established firm based in between Loughborough and Melton Mowbray
They are currently looking to recruit a Yard Person / Valeter to join their team on a 12 week temporary leading to permanent basis
Full time, 40 – 45 hours a week
Your role will be to assist in the provision of first class service to my clients customers. and to ensure all vehicles are ready for rent and to maintain and demand a high standard of cleanliness.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring vehicles are cleaned and valeted, ready to rent at all times.
- Ensure lubricants, water and other fluids are maintained in all vehicles.
- Ensure that all minor damage repairs are completed on each vehicle.This involves replacing external parts
- Ensure that all equipment is checked and in full working order on each vehicle.
- Assist in operating effective yard processes – move vehicles within yard etc
- Operate the truck wash as and when required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe yard environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Driving licence.
- HGV Class C licence an advantage
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles.
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.
- Be honest and open
Salary: £12.50ph
