🚛 HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – Afternoon Shift

📍 Nottingham | 🕑 14:00 – 22:00 | Temporary Contract

We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a well-established local authority contract in Nottingham.

This role offers steady afternoon/evening work, consistent routes, and the chance to be part of a team delivering an essential public service.

🔧 The Role:

• Drive refuse collection vehicles safely and professionally
• Complete daily vehicle safety and defect checks
• Lead and support a small collection crew
• Use in-cab systems to record collections and incidents
• Work to Health & Safety and road traffic regulations
• Represent the client positively within the community

✅ What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous refuse or similar driving experience preferred
• Physically fit and happy with hands-on work
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
