Minibus Driver

Our client, a local authority based in Newark (NG24) are currently looking for a Minibus Driver to join their ever-expanding team on an ongoing basis.

Working hours will 25 hours per week and will rotate as per below:

Week 1:
Monday to Friday 05:30am – 10:30am

Week 2:
Monday to Friday 14:30pm – 19:30pm

Saturdays are on rota basis which at present is one week in four.

The role will be based out of Balderton, Newark but at times you will need to cover other day centre’s, mileage is paid for this.

Your role as driver is to pick up and drop off individuals to and from their homes to the day service they are attending. You will also be responsible for the loading and clamping of wheelchairs and driving in a safe manner. After drop-offs you will also cover a general route picking up general public on a service route.

About you:

• You must have D1 on your driving licence
• You will need to have an enhanced DBS check

Immediate start

Rates of Pay:
£11.18 per hour, over-time and Saturdays are £16.77 per hour.
